RAL Monitoring

In October 2017 RAL introduced the RAL Monitoring System for all RAL Quality Assurance Associations. The basis and motive for this is RAL's duty of care for its 120 quality associations as laid down in the principles for quality labels. In order to fulfil this duty of care and to prove the credibility of the RAL quality assurance system, RAL regularly (at least every two years) requests data from all quality associations within the framework of monitoring in order to assess whether they act and work in accordance with the rules.

On this basis, RAL carries out a comprehensive analysis of the work of the quality association concerned. Finally, RAL makes personal contact with the respective quality association, usually within the framework of a personal visit. If necessary, open points from data collection and data analysis will be clarified and either conditions imposed or corrective measures initiated. The visits enable direct communication between Gütegemeinschaft and RAL.

In 2018, the Gütegemeinschaft Mineralwolle e. V. was also audited for the first time as part of the RAL monitoring system.

Since that time, monitoring has been successfully carried out every 2 years.

The current certificate confirms that the Gütegemeinschaft Mineralwolle e. V. is working properly and therefore continues to have the right to award the RAL-GZ 388 (RAL quality mark - mineral wool products) to companies.
